Why construction teams choose Vanguard
Straight to site
We deliver to the gate, compound or plot you give us, and call the site contact before we arrive.
Tail-lifts for heavy loads
If there's no forklift on site, a tail-lift vehicle lets us bring heavy items down to ground level safely.
Merchant pick-ups
Send us the order number and branch and we'll collect from the trade counter for you.
How a same day booking works
Tell us the job
Call, WhatsApp or send the quote form with both postcodes and what you're sending. We reply with a price and a collection time.
We collect within the hour
Once you confirm, the nearest suitable driver heads to you. We aim to be there within 60 minutes.
Follow the journey
Your goods stay on that one vehicle. You get live ETAs, and a real person if you need to change anything.
Delivered direct
We hand over at the delivery address and confirm to you as soon as it's done.
Construction courier questions
Can you deliver to a site without a full address?
Yes. Give us the postcode, a what3words location or directions to the gate, plus a site contact's phone number.
Will the driver unload?
Tell us what needs unloading when you book. Tail-lift vehicles bring heavy items down to ground level; for very heavy items, please have a forklift or extra hands on site.
Can you collect from a builders' merchant?
Yes. Pay for the order with the merchant, then give us the branch and order reference and we'll collect it for you.
Booking something urgent?
Tell us what needs to move and where. We will give you a price and a collection time straight away.
